Formula filtering?

Hi Anaplanners,

I've picked a model and I'm analysing it.

I've come across a module that has formulas which work in ACTUAL version, but vanish when in FORECAST version allowing data to be written into the cell. when switched back to ACTUAL version the data is over written, but is still there when switched again to FORECAST.

I can't find any clues as to how this is done. Can anyone help me here?
