Does anyone know would drive filtering to require "Filter Context"?

If I select a list item, it will cause problems if another user wants to select an alternate "Entity" in my example. It seems like you hard code the "Entity" by selecting something in the "Context Filter."

If the filter line contains an additional dimension compared to the view you are displaying, it needs to be specified what item you want to use in your filter. (If that selector does not apply, you need to define the relationship, which can be a specific node, or a top level if summaries are on.

If it shares all dimensions, you can choose between Current selection, or still basing it on a fixed item in the list.
