API Authentication error bc of need to reset password

Hello,

The IT team of a client has built a integration with the data base to Anaplan using the API.

They have a problem of Authentication when Anaplan ask to reset the password, giving a 401 unauthorized, so they have to go to the Anaplan page and reset the password and make the changes on the integration.

Is there any option in the API to not have to reset the password? here is the response they get.

Hi, there is no other way than manually in ux to change password but would recommed you to consider eithe Oaut or certificate based authentication then you will have longer expiry times than with password basic authentication.
