    • You do not need to play with the time format in module-to-module imports since Anaplan will automatically detect time. Keep it as the default format: "Match names". You will not get the error.
    • Try creating a saved view with the version you want to import from to reduce the complexity of the import.

Here is how I replicated your error:

  • Hello @Soumyajit,

Can you provide additional context for what you're trying to accomplish? Are you attempting to pull values from a certain time period or groups of time periods from the source?

It seems like your setup is Source Module (A) with just FY as a dimension, and you want to pull data into Target Module (B) which has just Product/Country as a dimension (not FY). Is this correct?

If you have any screenshots, that would be helpful.

  • I will share a screenshot.

    The source have 4 dimension.

    Time - FY( FY25 to FY29)

    Product- Suppose P4

    Version List- XYZ

    Location - L4

    Target Module has

    Time- FY (FY25 to FY29)

    No Version

    Product- P4

    Location -L4

  • @seymatas1 is correct - if you're importing from a module with time to another module to time, you should be able to directly map the Time dimensions, instead of using special Time mapping.

Is your source saved view limited to a single version? Otherwise your target will aggregate multiple versions together on import. That might be intended but I wanted to call it out.
