US$ Currency Display on NUX Boards

Hi,

Recently, 2 users from different regions have started to see US$ prefix their cells. We have it configured it be $ in the backend, so we're not sure where the US prefix is coming from. Example shown below:

For one of the users, the US$ prefix went away after a day. One user is based on Canada and the other in China. Is this a localized visual or is there a bug somewhere that I'm not aware of. Appreciate any insights here.

Thank you!

  • Hi @jackcplanning ,

It seems to be a bug to me , you can reach out to Anaplan support team (support@anaplan.com) regarding the issue which they can confirm.

    Thanks.

The language setting in Google Chrome will determine the currency symbol default. Here is a link to help you with that.

You can also permanently set the currency symbol as a format on the line item here:

I checked the line item format and it's set to USD & Symbol - on my screen, it still shows $. I also tried to update my Chrome settings to a different currency/region and it's not changing to US$. This only seems to be a thing for countries in other regions (receiving reports in Asia & Canada thus far). The strange part is it comes and goes…

I emailed support to see if they know - will update as I get information.
