Hi,

I am completing the L2 Model Builder course and on the Sprint 2 and I am stuck on the below part of the course:

2.3.10 Activity: Create Demand Forecast

My value in Week 6 is totally wrong and I can't figure out why?

    My data is same as yours for DAT03 Historic Volumes. But when i had the question to answer

    In the DEM03 Demand Forecast module that you just created, what is the Default Forecast in Week 6 FY21 for Nutzo Bar_EN in the Candyate account?

    69.94

    is not matching with answer

    Acceptable responses: 73.48

    My Growth Rate formule is missing something.

    IF 'SYS01 Time Settings By Week'.'1st Forecast Year?' THEN 'DEM02 Volume Growth Rates by Week'.Growth %[LOOKUP: 'SYS08 SKU Details'.Product Family] ELSE 0

    Any one please help.

    Hello both,

    Two suggestions:

    1. Growth rate% in DEM03 is not applicable only for 1st forecast year. So you can simplify the formula and remove If-Then-Else
    2. Growth rate applies over and above baseline forecast. Ex: If baseline forecast=50, and growth rate is 10%, then the result should be 55 but not 5. Hope this helps to modify your 'default forecast' formula
