Can I ask where Anaplan sits within your business? I have worked under the finance team and under IT and I'm interested in whether people have a view on what should/does work best? Should it sit independently of both?
I too have done both. I'm not sure there is a "right" answer as it likely depends on how the company works and what type of use cases are being supported.
Likely a personal preference but I thought the CoE was more effective when we sat within the Organization we supported. This helped to break down information barriers that can sometimes exist between IT & Finance. It also reinforced that talent pool of builder with folk who already had the subject matter expertise - finance folks learning Anaplan rather than Anaplan builders trying to learn finance.

This shows all comments across all data to all users with access to the UX page. This is not appropriate for any UX which might contain security access sensitive data. Comments on grids and cards ARE security dependent. That works fine. But anyone with access to the page can open this Summary Panel and see ALL comments…
