Hey Anaplanners, can somebody help me how can I get the total numbers of records in a list given that list does not contains top level?
Hi @CommunityMember11, For this You can simply make an Line item Say "Count" then assign a value as 1 in the formula for the same Line item within any module containing the same list without top level as a dimension. After that you simply need to sum up these values which will give you the total records present in list count. For Summing without a Top Level you can refer to the solution given by @AjayM in the mentioned link,
I hope this helps.
@david.savarin shared a great tip in the recent best practices community challenge. It walks through how you can setup a custom list to perform these types of aggregations without adding a top level or enabling summary methods in the module. Check it out!
@seymatas1 @rob_marshall - could you please help with the this requirement ?
