How can I permanently HOLD the TOTAL figure and let the Breakback happen?
Hi Community, Need your help if you have a smart solution to HOLD / LOCK the Top/Total of certain dimensions of a line item which is Breakback enabled! Example screens is given below:
So, all I want is to HOLD the yellow circle i.e. 1849 amount and let the below gets change which is 4 levels hierarchy..
We know the HOLD option on UX but this needs to be applied every time the context selector changes..
In other words, Total at (a*b*c*d) dimensions to be frozen and let the breakback does its job to distribute the splits in proposition.

Hey, you have to do it item by item, to all the list which is there in Context.
I don't think there is any other option.

So, @Dikshant are u saying that to the said requirement, the only option is to use "NUX Lock option" for each context selector selection every time. Did I understand u correctly?
Ain't any more user friendly way to achieve it? Tagging Rob Marshall also.. @rob_marshall if there is any superior way

I've not used it too much myself, but based on my understanding - I am not able to think of any way to this Hold item by item. You can try to play with the pivot, it that helps but i can see too many dimensions in same module, so that's the ideal behavior I think.

@AjayM you are right, HOLD retains only to current user and session but it also considers the selected filters.
I think HOLD functionality needs more maturity.. It should be restricted to the selected till not released!!
Open for more ideas / suggestions to handle the case more smartly. thanks!!
