Restrict access to summary items in a line item drop down when using a ragged hierarchy list

Hi,

Is it possible to remove the summary items from a drop down list when a line item is formatted with a ragged hierarchy list?

@ChrisAHeathcote I don't think you can.

I don't know your use case and how you are using the dropdowns but a couple of workarounds I can think of

Create a STAGING list with the same element but without the tops levels (and use a mapping in the background). I know….not ideal
Can you use boolean selection instead?

With ragged hierarchy, dependent dropdowns won't work. You can display the error message and highlight the dropdown as RED when users select higher level. Or an alternative list can be built, but it would be an additional maintenance to the model.
