Change in model size on importing
I have a prod model which is of almost 120 GB size. For some test purpose i simply imported the model to another workspace but now when i check the size of the model it is 75GB. When i checked at module level yes the cell count differs for some but not sure why the change in size. Kindly suggest.

Are you using the user dimension? Can have heavy impact on size, and if you have a lot of users in your Prod Model, and several fewer users in the copy that could be a leading cause of this.
If the answer to the above is yes: I would evaluate if User dimension is truly needed in all places, and if it is, does it need the full user list, or can you use a subset?

Thanks @jasonblinn , thanks for the response. yes the modules that have users as the dimension are the ones which have a size difference. Can you also please help me understand in the users list if the user is made no access but the row remains does it help to reduce the size or is it mandatory that the user be removed from the users list. Please suggest

If a user has a model role of no access they should not be in the user list. Only users with access to a given model should be in the list. This should automatically happen based on the model role.
