Action button in the source model
In UX page grid which is from the source model the forecasting data is updated by the users. Post the users enters the data it should get copy pasted in another UX page which has another model which is the target model. The action is created in the target model to get data from the source model but the customer requires the action button in the source model page so that after entering the data they can simply run the action above the table to get the data copy pasted into the target model. Is that feasible?

@BlessyDube In Anaplan ,it is not feasible to create the action in the source model which will get imported into Target model, Instead one can seek out integration help like snaplogic/cloudworks to run the action on daily basis in the Target model. But the problem here is it is run on daily basis mostly and user will not see the updated data as soon as it is available in the source module.
Hope it helps.

Hi
In Anaplan by adding multiple models to UX page you can achieve but as source and target are different models user needs to switch between models from the model drop on top right of the page.
User needs to select data by selecting source model from dropdown and then enter data next change the model and run action. It is clumsy and tedious.
Instead provide it on the target UX page only.
Hope it helps.1 -
@BlessyDube - It can be achieved by multiple model feature but it's a tedious process to do. You can automate that process every 5-10 mins(depending upon the volume of data, of course) so that user don't need to run it in the target model else the last and the best option is to give it on the target model NUX page so that user can run it on adhoc basis.

with Workflow you can put an end user button on UX page for Model A to launch a workflow template which can contain a machine task to move data from Model A to Model B

Hi @BlessyDube , @SriNitya

HOWEVER, I think cloudworks process is exceptional.
1. Go to cloudworks > New integration > Process, then choose the process that import to the target model
2. Check "Make this available on User Experience action cards"
3. In the input page, enable multiple source and add the target model
4. Configure action card to show the button we created by step 2
5. Remove the target model from the source of input pageI believe the cloudworks process remains available in the input page, but the page itself is linked to a single source model.
The issue is that only integration admin can use this page.. but don't you think this will work to solve one page - one model problem?1
