Month Number respective month.

I want a line item where I can select the month by drop-down. For this respective month I need the number value of the month. How can I achieve this.?

Like October is 10.

I am thinking to create a month flat list and use it, but how can I get the number?

And i would very appreciate you if you share screenshot.

    Hi @002

    Use Line item with Month format and then use MONTH() Function.

    If you are working on custom time by defining the month number as code and by using CODE() function, you can achieve it.

    Thanks for replying. But I need Month name as a drop down then respectively I need the number of the month.

    Is there any way to do that.

    Create another line item that shows the month's name. Concatenate text. (Not the best practice!)

    Month Name & Month Number

    Create a list with this text.

    Instead of replicating Excel documents or doing exactly what was told by the SMEs, I recommend showing other options and communicating around Anaplan's multidimensionality, efficiency, etc.
