MDX Custom Calculation Cell Reference in AnaplanXL (FluenceXL)

Can AnaplanXL (FluenceXL) reference an Excel cell's value to determine a list member needing to be referenced within a Custom Calculation? I need a Custom Calculation that dynamically calculates the difference between two versions, where one version is determined by an Excel cell's value.

I cannot use fixed position column/row grid calculations in this case, and I am looking to use Custom Calculations.

I do not want to create a custom calculation against every version I need to compare the differences between. Is there a way to dynamically bring in an excel cell value reference into a Custom Calculation?
