Workflow Notifications

I created a workflow with 3 task steps. I'm getting 5 email notifications. One for each task step and a start workflow and end workflow notification. Is there a way to suppress/control which email notification that can be triggered? Only email notification I really want generated is when the task is assigned (last task step).

Besides the email notification, workflow functionality is really good. Prior to workflows, the user had to execute the following steps separately:

  1. User to manually tick a boolean to specify which list item to run the action against
  2. User to click a button to execute the process
  3. User to click a button to notify approvers

I can now do all 3 using one workflow button. Though the email notifications is a bit too much

    That's the biggest disadvantage in Workflow. We do not have any control settings to restrict email notification. Hope, Anaplan will bring this enhancement soon.
