Anaplan Connect network traffic flow

Hi all,

I need to know the architecture of Anaplan Connect in order to decide how to set up the server where Anaplan Connect runs. Is the network traffic from Anplan Connect to Anplan and Anaplan to Anaplan Connect bi-directional?

Anaplan Connect has the same network profile as a web browser - connections always outgoing, regardless of dataflow direction. It connects only to https://api.anaplan.com/ (which it needs to resolve in DNS), and can be configured if necessary to connect via a proxy server.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your reply. Our netwrok security IT team is insisting on having the IP addresses for outbound host from Anaplan Connect (anaplan.com/Anaplan Cloud) to whitelist on the firewall. I think its not possible, if I am not wrong. They should whitelist (*.anaplan.com) I think. Can you please confirm? Thanks in advance.
