How to Create 'Export a Dashboard as PDF' and publish it to dashboard?
Hi,
We have an option 'Export Dashboard as PDF' on the dashboard.
Based on this option I am able to create a PDF.
When I go the list of actions I do not see an action in the exports that is created for this.
Basically I want to place that action on the dashboard. So that in one click I will be able to generate a PDF.

Hi ... This "Export a Dashboard as PDF" is not even logged in History also.
Since, it is present on the dashboard menu, You can use that functionality.

Alternatively Dashboard elements can be exported using an action instead of the entire dashboard itself while not the same depending on Dashboard design it may achieve the same results:
Here's how:
First use existing Dashboard design or similar suited for publishing this could also be done with a view if its simpler.
Follow the steps the key step being to save the export definition. Doing so will let the definition be available as an export.
Now that the export action is in place another process action can be created to actually run the export. This process action can then be published to a DB as a button.

The method you explained is Exporting Data from a grid layout. As explained in details here
However, for the 'Export a Dashboard as PDF' functionality, Export Action is not generated.
