Open Dashboard and different target dashboards based on a page selector

I want to use the "Open Dashboard and different target dashboards" feature based on a list property linked to a page selector I published in a dashboard, but it doesn't work. It works if I publish the whole module (not only the page selector). Is there a way to make it work publishing only the page selector?

As you've found it doesn't work with page selectors, so the alternative is to publish a module (with the driver list), with no line items and use this as a selector module.  

 

Guide the users to use that and then click the "open dashboard" button
