Think of YTG as the younger brother of YTD. YTD shows your totals up to a specific month-end or quarter-end. YTG shows the total left in the year.
It shows you the data that gets populated for all the periods that are left in a particular year starting from Current Period of the model timescale. For Example if your model calendar is Jan - Dec and your current period is June your YTG column will show you the data that is from July-Dec and YTD shows you the data that is from Jan- Jun
