I applied filter on forecast periods.
But how to delete the line items and dimensions and set them as n/a in the module view?
As i am not able to delete it.

n/a is Not Applicable.
With respect to the requirement stated,n/a means the respective pages/filters/etc need not be changed.
Only change/apply for the defined.

On that view I just added a filter as you did and kept the initial pivoting of the module. In my case the pivoting was the standard view:
