Rule 4.02-04 Turn off module page selectors. Show the page selector is appropriate but try and drive the selection from a general page selector.
Here is how it was done in Pre Planual Era: We used to have page selectors enabled for each grid of the dashboard
What is wrong with this method? It may create a confusion in users’ mind that the selection needs to be made in each grid of the dashboard.
Here is how it should be done in Planual Way: Create one set of page selectors on the top of your dashboard which drives each grid on that particular dashboard. And make the module page selectors read only if you wish to have it on each grid.
Here is how you can publish the page selectors on to the dashboard.
Step 1: Go to any module that you want to publish on to the dashboard and Click on View->Publish Page Selectors to Dashboard ->Select Dashboard
Step 2: Uncheck “Show Page Selector” in Dashboard Designer Panel
Step 3: Add description to these page selectors and Save the changes
Note: I have kept module names intact because of space optimization
