I have been trying to import the saved view in SYS05 Region and I keep getting errors and I don't know why. It seems like there is a disconnect between what is in my G1 list and SYS05 Region file.
Thank you for your help.
@LStinsa
Ok! We're almost there.
Just change your Data Hub list. YOu have your ITEM and CODE reversed.
Your super close to the answer. In your data hub you'll want to create a saved view that has one line item, CODE. Then use that saved view in your import to your spoke application. When you try to import the saved view there will be two columns to choose from. ITEM and CODE. The Region should use the ITEM and the CODE should use the CODE.
So in your example all you need to change the mapping. Region should be column1 and Code should be column 2.
See if that helps!
Thank you for your help. I must have an issue with my saved view. When I created the saved view in the Data Hub I highlighted the code line item and clicked on show selection. But it doesn't get rid of the region dimension.
Re-pivot the view and save it. Also, instead of Show, use Show All and then resave again, if needed.
@JaredDolich
Thank you for your help. I changed the mapping. I pivoted the saved view and highlighted code to show and then resaved it. But, I'm still getting the same error.
I don't understand why it won't import the data. Any suggestions?
I think I might know what the issue is. In SYS05 my codes are Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific. I just deleted everything in my Region flat list. I am going to remap the download. Is this the correct way to import the flat file?
Check "Code Only" as a good practice. Wont' change anything here but in the future you should always strive to import on the code if available.
Nice job! You got this.

Hi I'm looking to speak to people who have used/are using the Docusign integration in their business. We are exploring the possibility, but we find the current setup quite limiting in terms of how an end user would interact with the integration, but also issues with concurrency and number field formats. Would appreciate…
A quick reminder of the Bulk Copy functionality. Bulk Copy allows you copy large volumes of data from one slice of a model to another in a single, optimised operation, instead of using formulas or imports. Use case: copy a version (RF1) into a prior year version (PY RF1) using a versions list to allow for year-on-year…
