Incorrect Sum Total

Options

Hello,

I'm running into what appears to be a rounding error, however I'm not using any rounding formulas. We have a total of 625 employees being allocated across different locations. In the Total Allocation column from this module, my sum is 625:

When running these allocations through a sum by location ('STG: Employee Allocations'.Active Allocation %[SUM: 'STG: Employee Allocations'.Property] / 100), my total becomes 624.9025:

3 employees seem to have a floating point error in their allocation totals. 1 example is pictured below, with the allocations adding to 100 exactly outside of Anaplan:

Allocation amounts with sum in Excel:

6.51
4.49
8.15
3.26
7.34
4.07
13.04
8.15
16.3
1.37
0.96
8.79
6.86
1.1
4.81
3.29
1.51
100

These 3 errors accumulate to 0.00000000000009, not the .0975 difference seen in Anaplan. Is there a way to correct this and am I even right in the source of this discrepancy?

You need to check the source data at an individual intersection not at the aggregated level.  Also check the data which Anaplan has stored in the backend which you can check here.

    Hope that helps
