Key Information for Exception Group Members
- Your certification is valid through December 31, 2026 (next year).
- To maintain your certification, you must complete all required maintenance activities by that date.
- Your certification will be automatically upgraded to the Professional level (not the lower-level Associate).
- All certification fees are waived through January 31, 2026 (this year).
- We recommend recertifying early to extend your certification at no cost.
Note: Certified Master Anaplanners are still required to complete annual Contribution Activity Requirements, in addition to technical certification requirements.

Who is in the Exception Group?
Members of the exception group have received an email outlining their specific situation and next steps.
Exception group includes:
- All Japanese-speaking learners
- Anyone who certified between January 1 and July 7, 2025
What if I believe I should be in an exception group?
Exception groups were created using LMS data to address very specific scenarios. If you did not receive an email, it is unlikely you qualify for an exception. However, if you believe you were excluded in error, please contact us at academy@anaplan.com so we can review your case.
