We've updated our Community ranks to better celebrate and recognize everything you've already contributed.
To ensure your new rank accurately reflects your impact, we've been tallying points for your helpful activities behind the scenes. These points and your updated rank are visible on your Community profile.
Adding a profile photo
You'll earn 10 points and receive a badge automatically just by uploading a profile picture. It’s a simple step that helps everyone put a face to the name!
At mention another member
You'll earn 5 points the first time you loop a member into a discussion using @Name. It's a great way to keep the dialogue connected and ensure the right person sees your message.
Likes
Earn points when members find your content helpful. Your first like gets you 5 points, and your 25th like gets you another 5 points. As your contributions continue to gain recognition, hitting major milestones will earn you up to 50 points.
Tip: Earning likes comes from quality contributions. Take the time to make your posts and answers as clear, thoughtful, and helpful as possible to earn appreciation from your peers.
Note: While giving likes is a great way to show appreciation, please note that points are awarded for receiving reactions on your own contributions, not for giving them.
Comments
Join the conversation and earn points instantly. You'll get 2 points for your very first comment and another 5 points when you reach 10 comments. As you continue to contribute, higher milestones will earn you up to 20 points for becoming one of our most active voices.
Tip: Regular commenting is a great way to share your expertise and build your Community presence while earning points along the way.
Answers
When another member marks your answer as “accepted”, you earn points. The first “accepted answer” gets you 2 points, the fifth gets you 3 more, and higher milestones will earn you up to 20 points for your most impactful solutions.
Tip: Increase your chances of an "accepted answer” by focusing on a complete and accurate solution to the specific problem, not just a general suggestion.
Upvotes
You'll earn your first 5 points when your idea receives 5 upvotes, and another 5 points at 25 upvotes. As your ideas gain momentum with the Community, you'll earn up to 50 points for the ideas that matter most.
Tip: To get more upvotes, frame your idea as a priority for the Community by clearly explaining the widespread business problem it solves.
Anniversary
We value your commitment to the Community. You will automatically earn 5 points every year on your membership anniversary, just for being a dedicated member. Thanks for being here!
