Who are part of the exception group?
Learners who earned their certification from January 1, 2025 - July 7, 2025 and those who have been granted a special exemption by the Academy team.
When is the deadline for recertification?
People from this group are required to recertify until December 31, 2026 to maintain their certification.
How much is the recertification fee?
- The first attempt for this group is free of charge. Please wait for an email from the Certification Team for your one-time unique code to remove the cost of your exam.
- Please note that this code is only valid one-time and can be used for either English or Japanese language.
- Subsequent attempts are priced at $100USD plus local taxes.
If I fail the first attempt, when can I retake it?
You can retake the exam two weeks after your first attempt.
What happens if I don't recertify on December 31, 2026?
Your certification will be expired. You will need to begin your certification journey from Professional Model Builder certification. Your Model Builder Dashboard will show the courses that you need to take to start your certification journey.
