Compare and Sum ammounts based on text field

Hi, I am fairly new to Anaplan and I have a requirement where there are 2 models with a common text line item . I need to create a 3rd model by comparing these 2 models based on the text line item to sum up the amount for only those rows for which Text field matches. Please suggest hhow to achieve this. Can you provide some additional context to better understand so I might be able to provide you an answer? Also, are there 3 MODELS you're working with? Or 3 MODULES? Are these line items you're matching on lists that you can lookup or select? Thanks.
