Model Versions Lookup

Hi,

I have a source model in which the model versions(default versions) product list and time as a dimensions.

There is an version selection module where the user can select the base and target version for dynamic variance calculation.

The target module has Product and time dimension. I need the value of the External Base looking up the versions in the version selection module. But I'm unable to as source has default versions and version selection module has line items as list formatted(Version list) which results in format mismatch error.

 

Need help to get the variance in dynamic way as per the above requirement. I have attached the screenshots.

Out of the box functionality will not allow you to do lookups on versions, but luckily, someone wrote a How To document on it.
