When Process is Running: Status Popup or Badge on new UX pages

Request concerning UX:   When an action is running (like import/export) it slows the system. In Classic UX dashboards the platform provides a popup indicating to the users that the action is ongoing, and who triggered it.  This gives the users comfort that slowness is under control and for a known period of time.  There is no such  indication in the new UX, so users experience that the system is hanging without comfort that this is under control.  Also impact on the Center of Excellence, as this increases the number of times end users contact the CoE to check if there is an issue . Please enable a similar pop-up or status badge.   Also, if a user wants to trigger a new action, if there was a status badge indicating a process in progress then the user could choose to wait until later to trigger the new one.
