Remember that using HALFYEARVALUE will allocate the value to all months in the target module.
If you want to distribute this down to months you will need to phase the value across the 6 months based on a assumption. This could be flat by dividing the value by six or based on another driver such as sales activity.

is there a way to import data with months in columns (usual excel table view)?
