List - Top Level

Hi,

I have a small query on Top Level (List). As per best practice, we should try to avoid Top Level for large list. Instead, we should use Lookup for the same

I'm trying to use Lookup for a formula & its still asking for Top Level. When I update Top Level, the formula works perfectly (with Lookup).

Is there any alternate to Top Level? I tried assigning a Parent to the list, however its still not working, & asking for Top Level in the formula

Please advise.

LOOKUPs do not rely on Top Level. Could you please check the dimensionality of Source module and Target module. Or if you could share the snip that would be great.

import monthly data with months in columns
is there a way to import data with months in columns (usual excel table view)?
