Hide certain list member in dropdown

Hi,

 

Is there a way to restrict user access in certain list but they should still see the amount when being aggregated at total list.

 

I need to restrict user to all modules so using the picklist would be little tricky as I need to update everything.

    One thing you might try is using selective access for the users. You will, of course, need to create roles and assign users to those roles. Each role will only be able to see the list members you specify in the dropdowns. For the totals, you can create a separate line item dimensioned at the total level and display that as a separate grid.

    Just some ideas...

    • We can restrict the access on list level by selective access. 
    • For user level access we can give the particular user to those module and list level access by creating role in the module-role.

    For the total, only top level can see. For all you need to publish another grid.
