New UX chart to update when a chart displays data which is a context selector of other chart

As a page builder, I want to define the context update source on a chart either series or axis. Today charts are synced on the x-axis but I want the option to sync on the series selected instead.

 

So that I can set it up for my end users to update context when clicking a column on a chart to the relevant series or the axis point the column is on.

 

At a chart level I want to be able to select whether the series or axis is context aware.

 

If series is set when I click a data point or column/bar on a chart then context is updated to the relevant serie.

 

If axis is set then when I click a data point or column/bar on a chart then context is updated to the relevant axis.

This would be the x-axis.

 

This is relevant for the following charts:

• Line

• Column

• Bar

• Dot

• Area

• Combo
