The Datahub is the anaplan Model that acts as a staging model to capture the organizations data (i.e employee details, product details, locations etc). The spoke models are the Anaplan model which the imports the data coming from the datahub to make use of it in the inputs or in reporting. So if you imagine, it looks like a wheel, maybe that is why the ones that are not in the axle (Datahub) are the spokes.

@geometry dash lite Data Hub: A central repository for storing and managing enterprise data from various sources. It acts as a single point of access for data consumers and enables centralized governance and security.
Spoke Model: A decentralized data model or aplication that consumes data from the Data Hub and uses it for specific purposes. Spoke models can be deployed on different platforms and technologies, providing flexibility and agility.
The key concept is that the DataHub serves as a central source of data that is shared and used by various spoke models for different purposes. This approach offers several benefits, such as improved data consistency, efficiency, and agility.
