Forms dependent dropdown by calculated line item

Dependent dropdowns in forms: Page Builders and Model Builders can leverage relationships between different lists when creating new items using UX forms. No additional modeling is required as forms will automatically respect the rules built into your line items.

This got me very excited. Unfortunately, the dependent dropdown works only when the line item with the dependency is also an INPUT line item. It can not be based on a calculation/lookup from another input line item.

As an end-user / model builder, I want the dependent dropdown to work EXACTLY as in the module. This should include dependencies based on line items with calculations or lookups because the current setup is confusing.
