General Question on Locking the Actuals

Hi All,

How do you manage the master data changes? As the changes in anaplan are retrospective. Lets say there is a change in the master data and it will impact the actual numbers reported. Is there any native way to lock the numbers? Please don't recommend the snapshotting process as it will not be sustainable for my scenario.

P.s- I use custom version list.

@aishabhy05 There is a way of managing master data changes that enables you to maintain original data at the same time changes reflected in the master data but it may require you to redesign what you currently have. Please refer to my response to the following thread below

One quick solution i have in mind is load the master data, flag the list items for which master data is updated, and take a real-time snapshot or current numbers before updating the master data. So that you can report the numbers before and after master data gets updated.
