I am trying to use FIRSTNONBLANK as a function to get the current scenario to match to the current year starting from module dimensioned as month.

Try changing your summary for Year to be FirstNonBlank instead of None.

Can you please show me the picture of WKK17 Month to Scenario Mapping module as that is where you are needing to change the summary.

I have encountered similar problems using the FIRSTNONBLANK function with a time period. What is your actual ask? Do you want the scenario for May 24 in a line item? Create another line item called FNB Scenario, format it with scenario list and write the formula IF ISNOTBLANK(YEAR), THEN Scenario ELSE BLANK and turn the summary on to First non blank. Then you can fetch the scenario of May 24 from All periods using SELECT function.

is there a way to import data with months in columns (usual excel table view)?
