In Management Reports, there is no option to completely remove gridlines when displaying data.
This limits customization and leads to lower quality reports.
Having the ability to remove gridlines entirely is a necessary enhancement in order to make Management Reports "presentation ready" for senior execs.
Example: in the report, even if you make the cells/colums/rows white, there are still faint grey gridlines:
