When building new modules and functionality, we often end up creating and saving module views in the model, to make sure that we are able to see what we want to see, We then end up duplicating those in the UX, because UX custom views are so much more flexible (particularly with regard to conditional formatting etc). A really nice feature would be the ability to select a saved module view to use as the start point for a custom view – but then have the ability to modify to allow the extra levels of formatting etc.
This would save a lot of time when model building.
