Use Case: - Prepare Summary view to be sent on email to Anaplan Users for the status of the Process run Task from Task Response API.

Problem: - Process and

Action tasks are run via Bulk Load API.

1. Task API response does not provide a useful summary, all successful tags always mention True and there is no deciding criteria. Scanning the JSON even if a success is a performance overhead.
2. Process can have multiple actions. The Task API response is not inline with the Anaplan UI response where summary is presented Action Names and count wise.
3. Process task status API will not provide statuses of underlying actions.

Workaround: - Use heavy libraries to scan the JSON response from API and create near to similar view. Business wants a better view which is not available.

How often is this impacting your users?

It is impacting the developers and Anaplan users to get a proper view of the Process Run Summary. They want it similar to UI as attached.

Who is this impacting?

It is impacting solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts. Integration team need to develop out of the box solution with help of model builders so if there is an direct API to build the response or view as in the UI , it shall solve the problem instead of using heavy python libraries.

There should be direct API available for Task Summary with proper structured JSON response.
