Management Reporting - notes commentary boxes

In management reporting it would be really useful for end users to have the ability to make notes for presentation - similar to the notes function at the bottom of PPT slides that allows users to add a commentary that doesn't appear in the presentation/pdf version.

    Could you use the Insights Panel for this?

    You would need a module with text based line items. A lot of customers are now starting to use this as a way of capturing commentary against a particular dimension and/or time period. These can also be set to rich text format so you can use bold, bullets etc.

    I've done something similar in the attached example. This was used for displaying the commentary on the report and using the Insights panel to edit but you could just leave the comments in the Insights panel and show/hide.
