Request to Increase IP Allowlisting Limit in Anaplan

I am writing to suggest an enhancement to the IP allowlisting feature in Anaplan, specifically regarding the current limit of 200 IP addresses. This limitation poses challenges for organizations with complex network environments, especially those leveraging dynamic scaling, multi-regional operations, or stringent security protocols.

The Challenge: Organizations with a distributed workforce and multiple geographic locations often have a significantly larger number of IP addresses to manage. Additionally, with the increased adoption of cloud-based infrastructures and dynamic IP allocation, the 200-IP limit becomes a bottleneck. Many businesses, including ours, utilize security strategies that require precise IP allowlisting to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. This limitation necessitates frequent manual adjustments or compromises in security practices, which is far from ideal.

Proposed Solution: We propose increasing the IP allowlisting limit beyond the current threshold. While we understand the technical and operational considerations that may exist, a scalable solution—for example, increasing the limit to 1,000 IP addresses or enabling custom configurations for enterprise accounts—would better support the needs of Anaplan’s growing user base.

We believe that increasing the IP allowlisting limit aligns with Anaplan’s commitment to delivering a secure and scalable platform for its customers. This change would also enhance Anaplan’s appeal to enterprise customers with more complex operational and security requirements.
