Ability to suppress workflow step notification

In as much detail as possible, describe the problem or experience related to your idea. Please provide the context of what you were trying to do and include specific examples or workarounds:

If you have a workflow with 3 machine tasks. You will get 5 email notifications. One for each task step and a start workflow and end workflow notification. Need a way to suppress/control which email notification that can be triggered. In this example I only want one email notification to be sent to the person to whom a task in the workflow has been assigned

Everytime a user clicks on the workflow action in the UX

Have a toggle button to enable/disable email notification/UX notification for starting/ending a workflow

Have a toggle for each task step to disable/enable email notification/UX notification
