Ability to use Navigation based on Models Tied to the Page

I was trying to navigate from Dashboard 1 to Dashboard 2. Since my dashboard 2 is tied to two different models, navigation link did not take me to the correct model - Model A of the dashboard 2. Instead it landed me to the Model B of the dashboard 2. Hence I am proposing that navigation be tied to the model within a dashboard. When I connect two dashboards I should get an option of connecting it to the choice of the model I want.
