I’ve started the basic training module on Anaplan Consolidation and completed a few lessons, but there are still some things unclear to me.

How do we get started with Fluence as a platform?

In Anaplan, there’s a workspace where users create and work on models based on their use case. How does this work with Anaplan Consolidation in Fluence?

How do I create a new client (tenant) on Fluence?

Is the consolidation model the standard model used in Fluence?

As an implementation partner, do I need to understand the structure of the model that’s already created?

Is there a need to learn how to add a new model in Fluence?

If anyone has a roadmap or guidance on getting hands-on experience with Fluence, I would appreciate it!

How do I create a new client (tenant) on Fluence?

Partners can request FCR Tenants, but do not create them. Polestar LLP already has two FCR tenants, one a PreSales demonstration tenant with data, workflows, dashboards, reports, etc already configured, and one that is more of a sandbox. Is the consolidation model the standard model used in Fluence?

There are currently 2 standard models, one with Group dimension (usually for European style consolidation) and one without a Group dimension (usually for North American style consolidation).

As an implementation partner, do I need to understand the structure of the model that’s already created?

Yes it will be critical for Implementation Partners to understand the consolidation model(s) to properly scope and implement FCR for customers.

Is there a need to learn how to add a new model in Fluence?

Not really. At current, only one consolidation model is supported per customer tenant, and the base consolidation model comes pre-configured for new customers. Part of the new customer provisioning process will require answering some basic questions about customer requirements, which will determine whether the AMER or EURO style consolidation is required by the customer.
