Can ADO link to a deployed Model?
Hi and thanks, I built a link in my DEV model and pushed the data into a list successfully.(for info: no actions appear anywhere in any model, including the training one, where an ADO link has pushed) I then SYNC my Dev model to the PROD model, but the target cannot be changed in the ADO and there is no link to the PROD Model, so the link is still only to the DEV model. So, am back at a square one, unless i have missed something? AHHHH i see the light i have just found CLONE to ALM, so we can clone a link to the deployed models, perfect
@kevin.stevenson : good question.
Potentially, it can, but only if the actions created by ADO were created on a model that was not in Deployed mode. This means that you can create the ADO actions to a model DEV and promote that particular model to become the PROD.
If you change in ADO the target model, the actions need to be re-created, and if the model is in Deployed Mode it will generate error as creating actions are structural changes.
Hope it helps,
Alex
