Calculate Inventory Catch up date
Hi
Is there any way or function to calculate inventory catch up date?
i want to calculate 1st date that recover the sales plan.
Jul 01 | Jul 02 | Jul 03 | Jul 04 | Jul 05 | Jul 06 | Jul 07 | Jul 08
Sales | 20 | 10 | ||||||
Production | 10 | 20 | ||||||
Inventory | -20 | -20 | -10 | -10 | -20 | 0
Catch Up Date | Jul 08 | Jul 08 |
in this case,
sales of july 03 will be recovered by july 05 production 10pcs and july 08 production 10 of 20pcs
so the sales is recovered completery at july 08. i want to calculate this date.
Sales of july 07 will be recovered by July 08 production 10 of 20pcs
so the sales is recovered completery at july 08.
please let me know the idea.
best regards

Hi sasakawar.
If you're using Anaplan build-in timescale you'll need to add additional line items and modify them as as per file below.
A word of explaination
Boolean items serves as watchers to indicate if specified day is Catchup date and if to display it for previous dates. You may want to adjust formulas as needed.0 -
Hello Szymański
Thank you for your advice.
I tried to your idea, but i can not imagine how to adjust to meet requirements.
It seems to be possilbe to calc total catch up date, but hard to calc catch up date of each sales.
Please refer attached file.
i will keep on trying...

Hi Sasakawa
I see where I misunderstood your example. I'll check if there is anything else that can be done to reach that goal. Let me know if you figure out the solution on your own.
