Filtered pick list for time dimension

Description of the enhancement required:
The possibility to filter the date within a drop down where the year is a dimension.

 

An example of the enhancement:
This will be useful for our team to better build out a budget model and make it easier for the contributors to enter their data. It would prevent the model builder team from using fake time list as a dimension and disconnect data entry for consolidation.

 

A story for why they want the enhancement:
It would ease the use for our users, decrease the risk of data entry error for budget & forecast and increase data reliability and user confidence in the tool.
