FP&A Case Study: populate sales forecast module with Budget Units

Hi,

I've been trying to upload the budget units (from the sheet input units from the 2017 budgeting excel file) into my Sales Forecast Calculation Module. In that module I look either at the actual units, and if not present, at the forecasted units to calculate revenue, COGS, ...

However, I cannot manage to import the data for the line item "forecasted units".

This is how I proceeded:

I created a separate csv file with column headers: customer-product, sales rep, month (see attached
When I want to import the data into my module in Anaplan (dimensions: list customer-products, list sales rep), I cannot manage to do the automatic matching (on names & codes), however the names really look the same! see printscreen.

Can anybody help me???

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Louise,

Try to use the comma separator instead of semicolon in your file.

Thanks for this. I've been really stumped since the file provided in the 299 downloads did not include sales rep for the budget units. So now I am wondering if I am usign the right file at all.
