Cumulate Inquiry

Hi,

 

I am currently supporting a project Budget Run and I come across a formula in excel where I thought was easy and yet kind of confusing. See on the attachment. 

I am trying to calculate the Recognized NSA on the template. The formula in excel seems to be adding up each previous month. I tried using the previous command and it does not seem right or I was using it incorrectly. The clients template has a lot of this formula so I appreciate it if you anyone can point me in the right direction.

Please explore the moving sum function.

You have already cumulated the "Percentage of completion" in "Cumulative" line item, you may want to use this "Cumulative" line item in your Recognized NSA.
Currently you are doing MOVINGSUM on "Percentage of Completion" with 0 bucket, which means it is not cumulated.
